Over the weekend Five Senior students and two Rec Staff Members went to Samsing cabin. Caleb Harris (Sitka), Jordon K. Johnson (Adak), Darrel Martin (Anchorage), Gabriel Ozenna (Little Diomede), and Amanda Peratrovich (Klawock) were the seniors that went. The wonderful and great rec staff that went was Emily Buck and Karissa Hauck. The trip was one night, Mr. Friske and Mr. Blackhurst boated us out to the island and also picked us up. The night we got there we just stayed around the cabin and learned a new card game called Nerts, which got very exciting. We found the guest book and all signed our names in the book. We told ghost stories and got spooked out. Then on Saturday we went to explore the island for a few hours. We walked through bushes over and under trees. This was one of the best hikes I have ever been on. This whole trip was great.
