Mt. Edgecumbe High School’s
EMT Class

As the second semester begins for Mt. Edgecumbe High School, a group of students are taking the opportunity to learn about saving lives. The EMT class at Mt. Edgecumbe gives students the opportunity to become certified as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) or Emergency Trauma Technicians (ETT). The instructor, Greg Raschick, has been teaching the course to Mt. Edgecumbe students for over 20 years. The course features a lot of hands on activities and practical experiences which teach students to respond, assess, treat, and transport patients in a wide variety of emergency conditions.
